Want a Successful Facebook Page? 5 Tips to Help You Create One
With more than 500 million active users, Facebook is the most popular website in the world. No matter what niche you’re in, it’s highly likely that your target audience is chock full of Facebook users.
So, how do you create a Facebook page that’s really going to boost your traffic and sales? By following these 5 tips:
1. Keep it fun
For many people, Facebook offers a great way to relax after a long day. If your page offers fun pictures, cool links, and interesting status updates, people will enjoy spending time there. And the more people you have on your page, the more likely they are to come back – or to use your services when it comes time for them to spend money.
2. Turn it into a community
If you make your fans feel like they’re a part of the group, they’ll start to think of your less as a “company” and more as “friends”. And let’s face it – people are far more willing to do business with people whom they consider to be their friends.
A great way to make everyone feel included is to post pictures. Something as simple as sharing pictures from the last company Christmas party shows your fans that you like to have fun – and that they’re really not that different from you.
3. Include Facebook in your entire marketing strategy
You can’t turn your page into a community without plenty of people who are willing to join the community! When you first create your Facebook page, email your list and let them know that you’ve finally joined Facebook. Chances are, many of them are already on Facebook and will be more than happy to become a fan of your page.
But don’t stop there. Include a link to your Facebook page everywhere – including on your website, in the signature on your emails, and even on your business cards. That way, no matter where you market yourself, people will know you’re on Facebook.
4. Bring the products to the people
A Facebook shopping cart allows people to browse through your inventory and make purchases right on your Facebook page. That way, you don’t even need people to click through to your site to make money off of them!
5. Offer Facebook-only exclusives
People love a good deal. So, if your Facebook page includes discounts that people can’t get anywhere else, they’ll be happy to be your fans. A decent discount won’t cost you much, but if it goes viral, it can bring you a ton of success!
