Facebook Users Vote on Privacy Policy

Facebook users recently had the opportunity to vote on matters related to Facebook privacy. Held via the Facebook Site Governance page, this was not a new venture for the social network. In the past, Facebook allowed its users to vote on their privacy policy. In 2009, users were given the opportunity to vote on company policies, but back then, Facebook was much smaller, with only about 200 million users compared to today’s (nearly) one billion. What are users voting on exactly? Facebook discussed these changes back in May and has since let their users vote as to whether or not the privacy policy was placed into effect. Enhancing PageRank (PR) is a crucial practice in the world of SEO and Internet marketing, because the link analysis algorithm rates the importance of any given website. While there are many ways to make sure that your website receives the kind of initial attention necessary to become a global player, the fact is that your website requires constant maintenance in order to keep up a good PageRank. The Best Business Relationships Are Personal. Today and every day, make your people your first order of business. Fledgling entrepreneurs frequently make an extremely dangerous, sometimes fatal mistake: they devote so much time to perfecting their products, services, and systems that they forget to cultivate strong relationships with the people who support them. Beginners often forget how devoted employees and loyal customers drive revenues and sustain growth far more than chrome-sparkly products and streamlined accounting systems ever could. Successful business owners dedicate the majority of their time to forging strong relationships, because they agree with what Home Depot founders Bernie Marcus and Arthur Blank said: “When you take good care of the people, the numbers take care of themselves.” A friendly smile and a warm welcome for everyone.  • Care for customers. In the era of e-mail and social networks, you have no excuse for failing to stay in touch with your customers. I always include E-mail campaigns in my annual marketing budget as they really do work hard to boost site traffic and ROI. However, creating successful email marketing campaigns is not always easy. You need to know your market well and understand just how to target your E-mails to get the best effect from them. Ideally the E-mails you send out will instigate an appropriate response from the recipient. Typically, I will include one or two key links back to my website.  The whole E-mail will then be tailored towards encouraging recipients to click on the links and visit my website. Subject Line Clinchers One of the most important aspects of any marketing E-mail is the subject line.  This will be the first contact with the recipient and has to be engaging.  People do treat E-mails very lightly and will delete anything they don’t find interesting before reading – Read the full article
